Specific References

LiFePO4 batteries really have remarkable characteristics:
  • They support a much higher charge/discharge number than other lead or lithium batteries: more than 2,000 cycles.
  • They recharge quickly which is important in solar applications as well as mobile applications (camping car, RV, AGV, ...).
  • They have an excellent supplied energy/recovered energy yield around 95%. Very little energy wasted.
  • They can be recharged at any time as well as partially (no memory effect).
  • They can be unloaded completely and may remain unloaded without degrading performance.
  • They are 2 to 4 times lighter than lead batteries.
  • They have a very long life.
  • They can directly replace sealed lead-acid batteries while maintaining their chargers.
  • They contain no toxic material and are safe (no risk of fire or explosion).
The batteries are equipped with a Bluetooth monitor (Android) allowing to know in real time important features such as voltage, current, remaining capacity, ...

The 'Artic' versions of the batteries contain two heating elements fully automatically controlled by the BMS, which use the charging current to bring the battery temperature constantly above freezing, thus guaranteeing maximum charging and discharging performance even at extreme temperatures (-30°C).
